Diamonds
are a girl’s best friend. What if the facet of diamond is incorporated in
exquisite furniture design? Translating this concept into reality is Boca do Lobo, a reputed
furniture designer.
Using the
combined art of gold and silver leafing with the techniques of joinery, carving
and varnishing, this faceted sideboard
is totally hand-made. The sideboard is made from wood finished with silver leaf
with a shade of translucent amethyst with high gloss varnish. Inspired by the
Gothic furniture of the Romantic period it sports a gold leaf-finished interior
and whimsical lions head feet. Padding is provided on base to protect the
support area.
