The traditional
wooden ‘Ofurò’ baths of Japan were less vessels to get clean in, more places to
for quiet contemplation and a nice floaty soak. Ofurò’s puristic form allows
complete emersion; material and composition convey calm and warmth. Made of
larch wood - for a sauna-scented experience - it is dried in several work steps
and cut, shaped and joined together in a special procedure.
