Melchior Only Watch is a friendly high-end table clock clothed in palladium-plated brass and steel with bright red shoulder pads, strong metallic arms and legs and a personality highlighted by an animated brain and blinking eyes!
Melchior features jumping hours, sweeping minutes,
double retrograde seconds, and an impressive 40-day power reserve drawing from
five mainspring barrels. Hours and minutes are displayed via discs on
Melchior’s chest, while a dial on his abdomen indicates the state of wind of the
long power reserve; a true robot companion you can play with, the upper arms
rotate while lower arms pivot up or down – excellent manoeuvrability for aiming
a small arsenal at his disposal...
Released in a limited series, MB&F will be
donating this final piece of Melchior to Only Watch at an auction taking place
in November this year.
