In the world, where everything is at the touch of a button, Ikea
give us a smart home product - TRÅDFRI Lighting series.
The smart kit contains gateway, remote control and 2 E26 LED
light bulbs (large base) with white spectrum. You can use TRÅDFRI gateway and
app to create several groups of light sources and control them in different
ways. You need the TRÅDFRI gateway to use the TRÅDFRI app. All you need to do
is download the app for free via Google Play or App Store, depending on the
mobile device you use. It’s made of Polycarbonate/ABS plastic. This kit is not suitable for
use with hardwired dimmers. The gateway works on internet connection and the battery
is a part of the remote control, and lasts for approx. 2 years.
The product requires
assembly and can only be used with IKEA Smart lighting
products.
