Bow and Rise Chairs from Zaha Hadid Architects

With Bow and Rise Chairs, Zaha Hadid Architects explore new ways of creating furniture for Nagami.

The Bow and Rise Chairs have been printed with a pellet-extruder using raw particles of biodegradable PLA materials from renewable sources–such as corn-starch–that provide lightness and stability. The design is informed by structural optimisation processes typically found in nature. Crafting every detail - from the early conception of a product to the software that brings it to life - Nagami Bow and Rise by Zaha Hadid Architects debuted at the recently concluded Milan Design Week 2018.
