It’s time to
slow down and loosen up from hectic urban life with Palissade, a collection of
outdoor furniture by Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec, conceived for Danish brand
HAY.
Comprising 13
different elements, the collection constitutes of stools, chairs, benches,
tables, sofas, etc – made from standard steel tubes; round for the frames and
rectangular for the slats on the seat, allowing construction of a wide range of
typology with a common formal language.
Bound not only
by their graphical image but also their mutual characteristics- strong without
being bulky, light without being fragile, it is mainly designed for open-air environments
like public spaces, cafés, restaurants, gardens, terraces and balconies.
