Listening to
music while riding might now seem possible for riders, thanks to Gemma Roper’s
Safe + Sound.
Safe + Sound is
a pair of modular headphones using bone conduction audio designed specifically
for cyclists. The bone conduction modules clip onto the straps of any cycling
helmet, sending audio through the cheekbone, leaving the ears free to hear the
road. When not cycling, the modules slot into an earpad for more immersive
listening.
Moreover, these
modules have a versatile twist- they can be removed and turned into pair of headphones, when you're not on the road!
