A treat for all cat lovers, Herding Cats is a technicolour cat puzzle with over forty whimsical felines lurking within a 224-piece wooden puzzle!
Whimsies are special puzzle pieces shaped like recognizable figures. Usually we only include 3 to 5 whimsy pieces in a puzzle. However, this puzzle began with the challenge of fitting as many whimsy pieces as possible.
The puzzle has small cats and big cats; fluffy cats and furless ones; a cat in box; snuggling cats; cats that are strutting, sleeping, leaping, bathing and generally being cute. It is a cat shaped puzzle with 43 cats in it. It is also available in a large piece version with 114 big pieces with 23 huge cats.
The best part about the puzzle is that each cat is based on photos of real cats sent to the company by people on Twitter
The cat artwork for the puzzle is specially created by Anne Sullivan, an assistant professor in Digital Media at Georgia Tech and depicts a range of animals in saturated, rainbow colours.
